1.The Fisherman's Wager
Somewhere on the beach, there is a small cove where water from a cliff drips into the sand. 4 participants approach this place at night when the tide is low. 3 Participants travel by way of the forest. One inhabits the Role of a long dead Fisherman, dressed in a hooded jacket that obscures his face. The Fisherman does not have the ability to speak. The other 2 Participants are his Soldiers, whose faces are covered completely. Once the Tried arrives to the cove, the area is warmly lit and the Fisherman's Soldiers conceal themselves. The Fisherman produces 3 valuable objects and places them before his seat. 1 Participant, inhabiting the Role of a Gambler, travels by way of the beach, arriving shortly after the triad. They allow themselves be guided on foot along the beach toward the light of the Fisherman's haunt. Once the Gambler arrives, they seat themselves and produce a an object of immense sentimental value from their pocket, displaying it for the Fisherman. The Fisherman accepts the Gambler's wager and produces a small bottle of alcohol from his coat, placing it on the ground before him. He deals 3 hands of Cards to the Gambler, each round counted as either a Win or a Loss for the opposing sides. After each Loss, the Gambler may choose to take a sip from the Fisherman's brew. The first to 3 Wins is proclaimed the Victor. If the Gambler Wins, they take the Fisherman's coins and walk off proudly into the night. If the Fisherman wins, he produces 3 loud noises. This signals his Soldiers to emerge from their hiding and extinguish all sources of light as quickly as they are able. The Gambler is seized and walked into to the ocean so that the water may be up to their knees. They are then compelled to toss their treasured posession into the waves. After this is done, the Gambler is given the remaining alcohol and retreats into the night.
